Change of time, Change of mind.

Two days have gone by, and I've already decided to write about other things than simply university stuff. After reviewing a few different blogs, I found one from a guy who seems to hunt music just as passionately as I do. I search for new music to listen to essentially every other day, listening to new artists every week.

This is something I've done now for several years, and I've built up a pretty sizable library of excellent music. As it is a burning interest of mine, I figured I'd post a few of my favourite songs from different gernes. While I do have a few favourite gernes that I listen to more than others, I have a very broad range of music that I enjoy.

I'm gonna try to post a few assorted songs per week, each with a different type and sound, and a slight description of what it sounds like.

So, without further delay:

Finger Eleven: Paralyzer
Can't really describe this one in any other way than badass. It's the kind of music I'd personally listen to before going out, and gets me quite psyched. Also a song I use to wake myself up in the morning.

Motion City Soundtrack - Feel Like Rain
Bit of a calm song, but still quite fast. It's a very light type of metal that is strangely soothing. I'm actually having a really hard time giving an accurate description of this song, so I'll just stop trying and move on to the next!

Adam White - Ballerina
A trance song from 2005, got public notice when played a trance show called "A State of Trance" by Armin Van Buuren. This song will pick you up, absolutly freeze your mind with it's bridge, and then blow you up when it kicks back in. I also believe 2004-2005 was the absolute height of trance music over the last 10 years. This is a shortened version that doesn't quite deliver the same feel, but it's the best I could find.

Pendulum - Propane Nightmares (Celldweller remix)
Ending this with d'n'b track full of energy that just kicks off right from get start. Excellent hype-up track that will make sure you're not tired anytime soon.

Right, this has now gone of for long enough. Gotta scram if I am to make math class.

So like yeah.

As I've just began studying university, I figured I'd try my hand at blogging. Again. This is probably the third or fourth time I try to blog. Possibly 5th. None of my previous ones have lasted longer than a few months, and while I was always given positive feedback about how interesting my thoughts and concepts were, I just never had the devotion to stick with it and keep going.

This new blog will be about my first years at university, and how I cope with the pressure and constant deadlines presented to me. I will blog about methods of dealing with stress, ways to keep the interest in your courses high, theory on how to maximize your effective study time, and similar things that make life at university a lot easier.

So like yeah.
